Ryder "Sweetie, I'm home."  "In the kitchen."  I went to the kitchen and she was laughing as her friend was making her something to eat. I was happy that she wasn't in a negative mood about losing her ability to walk.  "Good evening, Mr Prescott."  "Good evening, Tom."  "Dad, Tom here makes the best food ever." She smiled.
