Me and Maya are still following Daniel while he leads us down the trail that'll take us to the doctor. As we continue to walk I start getting nervous because of my scars. I don't want anyone to make fun of me. Regardless of me being the Alpha, I'm different. And I know they know that but, I also know God won't give me anything I can't handle.

I look to my right to see Daniel looking at me with a concerned look on his face. Maya is a few feet ahead of us but still close enough to keep me at ease. I've noticed since we started walking he had been looking at me a lot like he was nervous. But I am unsure why, I know I feel safe with him like I do with Maya.
