When Gemma told me to come to our bedroom, I knew it wasn’t good. She and Tessa told me what occurred between Brent and Tessa a couple of nights ago. To say I’m p****d is the understatement of the year. I knew Brent had an ulterior motive than righting a wrong done by his father, though I figured it was innocent enough to just catch a glimpse of Tessa.
I’ve seen too many self-serving men like Brent in my life. Him coming here tonight is just to hurt Tessa for her turning him down the other night. I want nothing more than to disinvite him, but the ceremony is less than three hours away now. The disrespect I will show doing that will have ripple effects among other packs. I must tread carefully.
