Suddenly the sounds from outside the car had changed and so had the lighting. The whole car grew dark as if they were in an alleyway or inside a building. Quickly she tucked the watch into her pocket. The car began to slow down. Her hastily conceived plan was simple. When he opened the door, she would roll onto her back and bend her knees. As he leant in to grab her, she would kick him as hard as she could and escape. Tara knew that she would have only one shot at this, so it would have to count. She got herself ready.
