Chapter 9

244 Words
It still puzzles me how I got to this place. I don’t know if they can be trusted or if they are also companions of the people who are after me. I shouldn't trust them because everyone can turn their back on me at any time when they find out who I am and I'm sure of it. I woke up with many bandages almost all over my body and I know I got it from escaping to that place and that's all I know. I don’t know how they found me or how I got to this place. I guess I’m still lucky that I’m still alive after all those shits happen to me. After a long walk, we finally stopped in front of a big door. We just stood in front of it until it automatically opened after the security system scanned us. That’s no longer surprising to me because I lived in a house that wasn’t normal. My mom is an inventor of advanced technologies that's why things like that don't surprise me anymore. My male companion entered the room first when the door opened. He quietly bowed to the old man when he suddenly faced us. The old man just gave him a genuine smile before he sat down on the chair in front of the old man's table. I also just gave the old man a small nod before sitting down next to the guy I was with earlier.
