The king and his subjects arrived at the huge metallic city gate late in the night and as they stood before the gate, the people marvelled at how solid and unshakable it looked.
The palace guards who had come along with the king rushed to his side to help him down from the horse but the king jumped down before they could render their help, walking angrily to the gate and knocking intermittently on it. The menacing voice of the gatekeeper roared in anger at the disturbance it was receiving.
