Carim found himself in the familiar abandoned building in no time and he knew instantly, he was on earth; how he had gotten there, he didn't know. He could recall walking through the path of the underground route, and suddenly, he found himself here. The connection between his world and this house was a mystery but Carim was less concerned about that. All he could think about and all that mattered was he was on earth and he could see his family again.
Happiness and anxiety consumed him as he walked out of the abandoned building and the deserted street. The sun was at its peak and it took a while before he could find an oncoming taxi.
