Elena Chizhova’s Little Zinnobers in the Context of English, Russian, and World Culture and History
It is fitting that a translation of Elena Chizhova’s Kroshki Tsakhes (literally, The Children of Zaches), first published in 2000,35 should allow the anglophone reader an opportunity to become better acquainted with a talented contemporary Russian writer who has a particular interest in English culture and history.
