CHAPTER 6

Cabir: And that's the 1st time I have seen Manik crying after his mother's betrayal. He was broken beyond repair. But I still remember that day when he saw you on the road helping his employee. I saw that smile, that shined in his eyes after long f*****g 5 years. That Manik, who used to be naughty, romantic and expressive, was only in front of his friends. I saw that Manik on that day itself. He kept on day dreaming about you and, I am being honest, you are the 1st girl he laid his eyes on till today.

Being in a hug, Nandu saw Manik's face, asking him if it was true because he just bobbed his yes with a small smile. Breaking the hug, Nandu turned to Cabir and said

Nandu: Thanks Brother.

Cabir: ( confused) about what sissy.

Even Manik and Fab 3 were confused as to why she was thanking him all of a sudden.

Nandu ( with a bright smile ): for taking care of the broken Manik and as you held those broken pieces safely and collected him again, he is stable now. I give you a promise that I will never let Manik break or, if at all, if something like that happens, then I will be his strength and protect him. I will collect those broken pieces and help him to become his old self again.

Manik and Cabir had tears. Because, without knowing the whole truth, she said something which touched them. And here fab 3 were guilty and were shedding silent tears. Cabir just hugged her and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

Cabir: love you choti. Remember whatever may happen, and even if Manik doesn't trust you, you will find me beside yourself fighting with Manik for you. You have this bother for you in this life. And to keep this brother happy, he cook some tasty food every night. So that you know I can sleep peacefully.

Everyone chuckled at his talk. Here Nandu was overwhelmed. And everyone present in the room can say that Cabir going against Manik is a big promise and they also know about Nandu's heart. She was blessed she knew that and was getting emotional, but still keeping her thoughts aside she spoke.

Nandu: Cabir bro, please don't leave Manik. Even if I am the reason. He has already lost fab 3 and if he looses you I really don't know what he will become.

Cabir nodded, acknowledging what she was saying.

Nandu: Bro, please continue. What exactly happened and after that, I will surely cook all your favourite foods.

Everyone present in the room chuckled at her innocence and now Cabir started telling her exactly what happened that day.

After sometime, Manik was stable and he was thinking about what actually happened and how it had happened in just 5 days.

Manik thought about asking Cabir, as it was important for him to know what exactly happened before taking any step.

So Manik just looked at Cabir. Cabir knew he wanted to know everything, but still he was confused about to tell him or not. So finally understanding that it's his right to know everything even if it hurts him. Cabir spoke after releasing an unknown breath.

CABIR:

SO DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED THAT DAY?

Manik:

Yes, Mukti and alya said to me that I have to be there in some pub. As a fab5 party, but when I got there I only spotted Mukti n alya. On asking about guys, they said that you can't because you have some work and Dhruv was busy with his dance. So I just went without asking anything. But when I went there, I saw Sara. I was still annoyed just for mukti and Alya. I thought I would tolerate her. But eventually they left me saying it was an emergency. I had a doubt at that second time that Sara had planned a date without my knowledge and Mukti and Alya helped her. But still I did not want to break Mukti's or Alya's heart. So I just thought about eating dinner and moving to my place. I guess that's the mistake I made because after eating dinner with Sara with limited talk and her seduction throughout the dinner. I passed out on the table itself by sitting. I don't really remember anything. I woke up around 12 in the afternoon and found myself in my room all fine. And at that moment, I received a call from dad saying I had to go to London for office work. So I just rushed to the airport immediately as it was important. The company was not stable Cabir. It was about to go bankrupt but I had to save my dad's company. That's why I didn't get time to inform any of you about that matter.

Cabir saw him and his eyes, which were glassy with fresh tears.

Cabir ( calmly ): I knew from the start that you were in London and the company was about to go bankrupt.

Manik was shocked as to how come he knew. If he knew, then why did he enquire? Don't he trust me? That was the thought which was running in his mind.

Cabir: And before your stupid brain concluded, Raj's uncle told me. Being tense about you, I ringed up him. So he told me everything and I said," you before" because fab 3 don't know that I know if they, get to know that. You know right how they will react. So that's why I chose the other way.

Manik understood what he was saying and asked him to say exactly what happened in his absence.

Cabir took a deep breath and said.

Cabir: Sara filed a complaint with proper proof and photographs that you were into illegal activities like drug dealing and women trafficking. And she also published photos of you forcing her and her friends to sleep with you. And by blackmailing her, you slept with her.

Manik was dumbfounded. He never thought being all good with a monster attitude would do this to him. Sometimes people don't deserve all your good side. They need to know that you are way more dangerous than they thought.

Cabir: And you know you were not in your room after that dinner. Yes, you woke up in your room, but before that you were with Sara verma and Ashutosh verma. They transferred all their illegal activities to your name and, in an unconscious state, you were actually calling me but they edited the video using a top voice artist and sent that video to Dhruv. As Dhruv had already manipulated them, it was easy for him to believe and make Mukti n Alya believe.

Manik: What does that video contain?

Cabir: it shows in the video that....... you were.......

Manik: tell me clearly cabirrrr.

Cabir ( closing eyes ): That you were f*****g Sara and saying that because of you fab 5 is in this place or else we are nothing for good. And Sara was screaming for help and crying. But you slapped her hard and said Mukti and Alya are good for nothing. If they have a curving figure like Sara, then you won't mind to f**k them and selling them to one of your customers..

Manik was shocked, angry and what not in the end, but he just looked at Cabir and asked him.

Manik: do you really think that's me?

Cabir: Hell no Manik. Are you mad or what? I know Alya and Mukti are like sisters to you.

Manik: How the hell did you get to know everything?

Cabir: Because this news spread in London first. So, that's the reason the company was supposed to go bankrupt and Ashutosh thought about buying the shares, showing to the world that they are helping your company, but actually it was planned by him.

Manik: cabir I am asking you for the last time how the hell you know this.

Cabir ( taking a deep breath ): Because they are my cousins. Ashutosh and Sara are my cousins. They sold my sister infront of my eyes to some guy for money and I couldn't even save her. I hope she is dead now without suffering any torture. My parents died in an accident when I was around 5 and my sister was 3 years old. Ashutosh's dad took care of us but he was into illegal stuff. As I was small, I couldn't really understand that. And that bastard ASHUTOSH f****d MY LITTLE SISTER INFRONT OF MY OWNS EYES BEFORE SELLING HER.

And by this cabir broke down Manik hugged him. Even Fab 3 came and hugged him.

Breaking the hug.

Cabir: Why do you guys come? Haven't you blamed and said enough?

With Guilt fab 3 nodded no and said

" We came back and then saw Manik crying in your arms. This is the 1st time we have seen him like that. So we thought about coming and consoling, but before that you guys started speaking and we eve's dropped everything and we are sorry for everything ".

Cabir: What sorry. Wowwww. You didn't trust Manik. The Manik who used you saved you 3 for every bully you did, from f*****g people like Harshad. You really thought he could do that. More than him, you broke my trust. So I don't know what this apology is for.

Manik turned to Cabir.

Manik: But we need proof that I am innocent and it's all done by Ashutosh and Sara.

Cabir ( with an evil laugh ): What do you think I am just giving you knowledge about how these people are? I took raj uncles help and tied them up in the basement with some of our TRUSTED men. So they confessed everything and it was recorded and sent to the commissioner, Sir. And they are in jail. They were geniuses as they didn't leave any clue, so that's the only way I had.

Manik just hugged Cabir and said thank you to him, breaking the hug.

Cabir: i***t you will say thank you to me?. Shut up and tomorrow morning the commissioner uncle will give a statement to the press. So you don't worry.

Manik thought, how the hell he got so lucky because he was in a big s**t that too, without his knowledge, and even saved too, without his knowledge. Only friends like Cabir will do such things.

( Manik and Cabir moved to their respective rooms, ignoring fab 3. They completed their studies and took their career to heights with their hard work but Manik never saw, fab 3 faces nor acknowledged them. At start, even cabir didn't, but eventually he accepted their apology and he started talking to them normally, but told him if Manik forgives them, then he will accept them with heart. )

PRESENT

Nandu just hugged Manik and said

Nandu: You are very lucky that you got Cabir as your friend.

Manik: Indeed I am.

Cabir: Awww Manik. What luck and all you are my 1st love. Come here and give me a kissy baby.

Manik made a disgusted face and Fab 3 chuckled but Nandu was laughing. Everyone sighed to see her all happy.

Nandu: Bro, I am not giving my husband to anyone. He is mine.

Manik smirked, looking at him.

Nandu: Okay, I guess now I should sleep. It's almost 4am. I will skip college, but if we don't sleep now, we will surely fall ill.

Everyone accepted that and moved out to their respective rooms. But as Nandu doesn't want to go to their room. Manik took her to one of the guest rooms, which is on the other side of the mansion, where Aryaman can't see them. And slept peacefully.

Next day, Nandu was lazy, so she was in that room only most of the time. And when Manik, cabir and fab 3 came home at that time, she silently came to them and wished them by sitting beside Manik and hugging him. Manik just smiled and brought her close to him.

Cabir: Soo sissy still lazy.

Nandu: Yes, But I want to say something to you and Manik.

Manik and Cabir nodded, asking her to continue. Nandu moved to one side and sat exactly opposite to them where fab 3 were sitting.

Nandu: I don't know if I have the right to speak about this matter or not, but let me just finish what I wanted to say.

Cabir: you have every right to speak about everything and anything to us choti. So don't say like that and continue.

Nandu ( nodding her head ): I know, Manik, it's difficult for you to trust them. But just think from their point of view. Dhruv bhai got strongly manipulated by him and when he saw the video he couldn't figure out that it was fake and it was not you. And Mukti and Alya thought that Sara really loved her and wanted to spend the rest of her life with you happily. I am not saying you to just forgive them like this, but at least think. You gave them punishment of 5 years. They are still coming here because they love you. They want their friend who used to scold them, to protect them. Just place yourself in the place of any one of these 3 and think. At least for once you will doubt them right. We have to be practical and in practical life any human will make doubt by seeing things and listening to them constantly. If we tell a lie 10 times, people will not believe it, but the 11th time they will have a doubt that maybe that person is saying the truth and after the 15th time they will start believing it. That's how human psychology is. So, from now on, give them a chance and trust them and let them trust you, Manik. How Cabir Bro and you are transparent, the same way be transparent to them. Will they doubt you again if you are transparent and honest with them?

Manik and Cabir nodded no.

Nandu: It's your decision now. But whatever it is, with Cabir Bro, I will be beside you to support you at your every step.

Manik just pecked her forehead and moved to the study room, saying he needed time. With that, everyone retarded to their rooms but Nandu went to that guest room only. As, she was scared to be in their room which is in second floor. Nandu knew that Aryaman was still still peeping into the mansion so that he could make a move.
