Ethan's eyes scanned the warehouse, looking for any opportunity to escape. He knew that Victor's men were closing in, and they had to act fast. Marcus, sensing Ethan's tension, nodded in agreement. "We need to get out of here, now," Ethan whispered to Marcus. Marcus nodded, and together they made a break for the door. But Victor's men were too quick, and they were surrounded in seconds. Ethan drew his gun, his heart racing with adrenaline. "We're not going down without a fight," he said, his voice firm. Marcus followed suit, drawing his own gun. Together, they prepared to face off against Victor's men. But just as the situation was about to escalate, Ethan's phone buzzed with an incoming text from Captain Lewis. "Backup is on the way," the message read. "Hold tight." Ethan's eyes locked onto Victor, who was sneering at him with contempt. "You think help is coming?" Victor taunted. "You're too late. You'll never leave this warehouse alive." Ethan gritted his teeth, his finger tightening on the trigger. He knew that he had to keep Victor's men at bay until backup arrived. Suddenly, the sound of sirens echoed through the warehouse, growing louder with each passing second. Victor's men hesitated, looking at each other uncertainly. Ethan took advantage of the distraction. "Now's our chance," he whispered to Marcus. "Let's go." Together, they made a break for the door, guns drawn. Victor's men opened fire, but Ethan and Marcus managed to dodge the bullets and make it outside just as the police arrived. The warehouse was surrounded by police cars, and officers were rushing in to apprehend Victor's men. Ethan breathed a sigh of relief as he watched Victor being taken away in handcuffs. But as he turned to Marcus, he noticed that Marcus was looking at him with a strange expression. "What's wrong?" Ethan asked. Marcus hesitated before speaking. "I think there's something you should know, Detective. Something about the evidence we found." Ethan's instincts told him that something was off. "What is it?" he asked, his voice firm. Marcus glanced around nervously before leaning in close. "I think the evidence was planted," he whispered. "I think someone is trying to frame Victor Morano." Ethan's eyes widened in shock. What did this mean? Was the entire case a setup? And who was behind it all?
