Ethan's mind was racing as he made his way to the old clock tower at midnight.
Dr. Rachel Kim's warning had been cryptic, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that she was trying to help him.
As he approached the clock tower, he noticed that the area was deserted.
The only sound was the ticking of the clock's mechanism.
Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows.
"Dr. Kim?" Ethan asked, his voice low.
Rachel nodded, her eyes scanning the area nervously. "I'm glad you came, Detective. I have information about the case."
Ethan's interest was piqued. "What kind of information?"
Rachel hesitated before speaking. "I've been analyzing the evidence, and I think I've found a connection between the victims.
They're all linked to a larger conspiracy, one that goes beyond Victor Morano."
Ethan's eyes widened in surprise. "What kind of conspiracy?"
Rachel glanced around nervously again. "I don't think it's safe to discuss here. But I can give you a clue. Look into the Patel family's past. There's more to Sophia's story than she's letting on."
Ethan's mind was racing with possibilities.
Could Sophia be hiding something from him?

Just then, Rachel's phone buzzed.
She glanced at the screen and her expression turned pale. "I have to go," she said, quickly disappearing into the night.
Ethan was left standing alone, wondering what Rachel had been trying to tell him.
He knew he had to investigate Sophia's family's past, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that he was being played.
As he walked back to his car, he noticed a piece of paper on the ground.
It was a note, scribbled in haste. "Trust no one. Not even Sophia."
Ethan's gut twisted with unease.
Who was behind these messages, and what did they want him to know?
The mystery was deepening, and Ethan was more determined than ever to get to the bottom of it.
