Melissa smiled awkwardly as she walked in. "I need to talk to you guys" she said.
Honey grit her teeth.
"I.. Look, there's no excuse for what I did, but I really really hope you'll just hear me out."
Honey stood up, not interested in listening to her.
"Please, Honey, I really am here to apologize."
Honey sat down and nodded sonewhat gruffly.
"All those years ago, I truly thought Nick would be happier with me" Melissa started. Honey began to speak but she held up her hand. "Let me speak, please."
Nick nodded and held Honey's hand.
"I don't remember why on earth I thought that, maybe because I wanted him so badly. Maybe because every time I saw how he looked at you, I wanted that for myself" she sighed.
