"So, you're the w***e opening her legs for my son?!" she spits, storming toward me.
Nic steps in front of me instantly, shielding me from his raging mother.
"You have no shame, you slut - all you want is to destroy my family name!" she screams, struggling against Kelvin who rushes in and grabs her, shocked by what he just heard.
"Mum, stop," Nic growls. "Don't drag her into this. I'm the one who started it."
"You're shameless," his mother sneers at me, completely ignoring him.
I stay behind Nic, too scared to move. Was I wrong for sleeping with a man who's already engaged? Maybe... but I don't feel guilt. I feel pride. My eyes meet Clara's - she's staring at me with pure hatred. I smirk.
