Marie My head felt like it was splitting in two. A sharp ache travelled from my temple to the base of my skull. I experienced dotting and blurriness in my vision. I was finding it hard to breathe. What happened to me? Was I still on the restroom floor? Slowly, I fluttered my eyes open. I couldn't see, but I could make out familiar shapes and colors. Slowly, m my eyes adjusted to my surroundings mysteriously without my glasses. I ignored the weird palpitations of my heart against my ribcage. It was pumping too fast. I noticed I wasn't in a lying position but a sitting one. My head pounded still. I felt like my brain would pop out of my skull at any moment now.
