Marie “She will be fine. Her pulse had returned to normal.” Though the voice was distant I heard it. I stirred around for a moment, my memories replaying the horrifying nightmare I had last night. I flutter my eyes open, the sharp rays of the sun striking my face with uncanny brightness. I tap my hands around for my glasses, and then I recall I haven't been with it for some time now. The contact lens Mrs Natasha gave me wasn't a good eye fix but I was able to see to some extent. Without any of those, I was practically blind. “Marie,” I heard a sigh of relief, the voice was familiar but I couldn't see who it was. “I can't see,” I muttered. The woman in the room sighed. “Yeah, I know now. I can't find your glasses, so I had one made for you.” “Thank you,” I muttered appreciatively
