WONWOO’s POV
I tilted my face and looked down at Areum who was crying on my chest softly. “What’s wrong baby?”
She raised her golden eyes towards me and hiccupped before she spoke. “Huh? But I’m not a baby anymore.” She said with a serious face.
I wanted to laugh but she was so serious and tears were smeared on her face. Control yourself Wonwoo, don’t laugh at her.
I coughed awkwardly. “Why are you crying?” I asked.
“I miss my family Wonwoo.” She cried again. “I feel so lonely.”
My heart broke. She wasn’t even familiar with this place yet and I’d left her alone for hours and when I went back home, I’d snapped at her.
“Is that why you came to the couch to snuggle with me?” I asked.
“I waited so long for you.” she whispered, inching closer and sliding into my lap. “
