The suprise mate

Chapter Five

Piper's Pov

After hours in the car we finally get to the kingdom and I'm so happy to be out of the car as we pull up we are stopped by the guards they ask who we are and zach proceeds to tell them who we are and they let us proceed we get to the back were we park the car. I look at zach questionly he smiles its better to come in through the back so we are not stopped again he leads me through the door and down a corador that leads to a kitchen were there are lots of maids working and a head chef the chef spots us and smiles zach he says with a big smile. Hey Cooper how are u? He asks Cooper just smiles I'm good he says been busy feeding these hungry pups he laughs in his deep voice I smile he reminds me of my grandpa.

He looks at me with a smile and says and I see you brought a beautiful friend with you he says I blush at what he says zach looks at me then smiles at me yes this is Piper I brought her along cause shes been stuck in her pack house for awhile thought she could use a good couple of days out. Cooper gives an even bigger smile well I hope you enjoy your day little miss he says I give him a bigger smile and say thank you we walk out and are stopped by a few ore people who know zach. They were all so happy to see him and were surprisingly happy to meet me even though they never met me as we get closer to what I assume was the princes chambers we get to the door and zach walks right in I follow him in and am hit with this wonderful smell of coffee and chocolate my sensed went into over drive but as we look around no one is here.

Zach calls a maid and asks were Dameon is and she says he went out to deal with a problem at there border he says ok then asks to be shown to our rooms she nods and takes us to our rooms I smile as she leaves and trun to zach he smiles. Well I don't know about you but I'm tired and want a nap how about you he asks me I nod we go to our separate rooms I'm surprised ok see my stuff but knowing zach he probably asked someone when I was not paying attention my wolf was winning since I left the princes room saying mate which shocks me. I don't believe it how how could I be mated to the prince??? I know I'm special but it's a cliche in all novels about our kind the girl that's the strongest and most powerful ends up with a powerful Alpha or the king or soon to be king so it's so cliche but my wolf is howling and saying we are so lucky. I just don't know should I go up to him? Should I just wait for him to realize it? Or should I find him and say hey we are mates? Like I just don't know then there's the possibility of rejection or he could be abusive there's just so many things that could happen so I'm just sitting here with my mind racing and asking the same questions. I finally get up and go to the bathroom were the room is bigger than my entire room and has a waterfall shower and a tub that could fit at least ten people. I get in the shower trun it on get the right temperature and then start washing they even put my toilettrees in the bathroom I smile as I enjoy my shower then get out and get dressed in homely clothes and brush my hair and dry it. Then I get in the big king sized bed it's so nice and soft and big I smile it's like laying on the pillow then closed my eyes as I drift off and all I can think of is my mate as I go to sleep.

Dameo's pov

I cannot believe I get called out here for a simple misunderstanding between this young couple and now I'm late getting back zach should be here by now and I was supposed to greet him dame is all I can think as I get back to the castle I stopped a maid and asked I'd zach was here?? She smiled at me flirtatiouly and says why yes your highness he's here and he brought a young lady with him as she's saying this she's looking me up and down while locking her lips. I just ignore it and go to my room as I walk in I get hit with a faint scent that smells like lavender rain and my wolf is going crazy and says mate I look around shocked but see no one in here I know zach is probably taking a nap so I go take a shower and lay down too as I go to sleep all I can think is I'm going to find my mate when I get up.

I wake up and it's late in the day I get up and go to the bathroom when I'm done I go and put on a shirt and brush my hair I put on shocks and shoes and go to the guest rooms I follow the decent thats familiar but as I near there I get the lavnder I immediately know it's mate and I follow it even though I know I'm not going to zach I find the door and slowly open the door and walk in. I look around it's deem in here but I see this girl asleep in the big king sized bed I walk over and look down and see this beautiful angle she had light brown hair with blond highlights she had a heart shaped face with high cheekbones and a straight nose she was beautiful I couldn't help it I guess she sensed me cause she stird slowly opened her eyes as she blinked she looks at me confused then realized that some man was in her room staring at her I think what am I going to say then I hear theist heavenly voice say well I guess you found me. I realize what she says then answer yes I smelled you in my room I say as I look at her she nods then looks at me I watch as she checks me out wich I smiled.

Then she looks me in the eye and blushes at being caught then clears her throat well we should talk about this and not beat around the bush as she says this I smile she's straight forward then I say ok well do you want a mate I ask?? She looks shocked that I asked then thinks for a moment and says yes I smile ok tell me about yourself I say as I get comfortable?? As we talk I feel so comfortable with her I learned alot about her she was kidnapped and tortured while being experimented on her she even told me about how she was set free by zach I'm in just aww cause no one I know could go through what she did. As we spent time together I completely forgot about zach who comes knocking on the door to see what piper was doing she let's him in and he's shocked to see me and I just smile. Then I tell him that we are mates and I followed her scent in here. He laughs and says well that explains why I was here and smiles at us well im glad you finally found your mate he says I look at piper who looks uncomfortable are you ok I ask??

She looks startled and then gives a small smile yes she says it's just she stops then starts again I'm just overwhelmed not good at handling things like this I give her a small smile and grab her hand it will be ok and there's no pressure I say. She looks at me and smiles and nods then her stomach grumbles and she looks embarrassed zach and I laught I take them to the kitchen Cooper is still there I smiled and say hey coop what's for dinner I ask with a smile? He laughs you missed dinner your majesty coop don't call me that you know I don't like it I say. He nods with a smile and makes us steaks with baked potatoes and broccoli with corn we ate it and I smiled cause watching my mate was adorable how she ate she looked like she was in heaven with each bite. As we finish the food I take my mates hand and she looks at me with a small smile as the sparks run up our arms I take my last bite and we help clean up after and then go I walk piper back to her room and wait as she opens it I get ready to leave. Then piper says do u want to watch TV together and I smile yeah I say we watch a couple episodes of bones and I feel myself drifting and all I can think is how happy I am in this moment right now as darkness takes over.
