Tyler and I made it to a clearing in human form in no time. We could still run faster then an average person without shifting.

“Ok, Let’s do this.” I said while stripping off my clothes. Once we got undressed we both shifted.

Rajat growled at me in my head “ we must learn how to protect mate.”

“I know Rajat, we will protect her but Tyler is our Beta so we need to learn how to be in control together.” He didn’t like me scolding him but he listened and as we went round after round with Tyler I could feel our communication growing stronger.

Tyler suddenly shifted back and leaned against a tree catching his breath. I shifted back as well feeling perfectly fine.

“ how do you do that? I know we have trained our entire lives but the movements you make are untouchable. Titus won’t know what hit him!” Tyler was still breathing heavily.

“ I’m still not sure of everything I can do but I could feel Rajat and I moving together. Minerva said I would have a deep connection with nature as well.”

“You have always been particularly connected with water. Even when we were pups the water is where we could always find you.”

My heart felt heavy when a memory came flooding back to me. After getting the news my mother had suddenly died I ran straight for the river. I stayed there for hours before my father and Tyler found me. There was something about the water that soothes my soul and I felt like the river could feel my pain and helped wash it away.

Darkness began to settle in around us and it hit me I had promised Eva I would be back for dinner.

“Damn it we need to go!” I grabbed my clothes and got dressed. I still didn’t want the pack to see me in wolf form.

When I got back inside the pack house I smelled for Eva but she wasn’t here. I started to panic but when the door opened behind me I turned and saw her walk in. I instantly felt myself relax.

I took her upstairs but I knew I needed to shower and get some food. I dropped her off at her room and told her I would link her when I was cleaned up. I got undressed and let the hot water of my shower wash over my body. It felt so good. After I washed up and dried off I threw on a pair of shorts and ran downstairs to the kitchen. One of the maids was still cleaning up and she gasped a little when she saw me. She was trying to be respectful but I could see she was staring at my body.
