"Information Overload"

I followed him to the garage, where my brother, Jordan, was. Jordan was lifting weights. He was always into fitness. I swear, if he couldn’t use his gym equipment, he would die. "Hi Skylar, who's your friend?" asked my brother asked suggestively. "Oh, this is Luke, and he needs to talk to us." I spoke. Jordan studied me for a moment and then turned and switched his horrible music off. He then placed the weights down and looked up at me. "Ok, what's up? You have better not gotten my little sister pregnant!" said Jordan. My eyes went wide, and Luke looked like he was going to puke. “Actually, he has something more important to say, and we aren’t together.” I replied. Jordan smirked. “That does not mean anything.” He replied. I rolled my eyes and huffed. Jordan nodded and looked at Luke. "My name is Luke Gallery. I came to save Skylar from being a slave in the mythical world. We just got attached by a morph and I need to get Skylar to safety, before they get her, and lock her up." he said. Jordan looked at Luke for a moment and then laughed. “You’re kidding me, right?” he asked. He looked at me. I was silent. “Did you get him from the looney bin?” asked Jordan. I smiled. I was thinking the same thing, earlier that day. I shook my head. “If you had seen what I have, then you would believe him.” I replied. Jordan stopped and stared at me. He got up and stood in between Luke and I. “I think that it’s time for your friend to leave now.” He stated in a firm manner. I sighed and shook my head. “Jordan, he is serious.” I replied. Jordan and I had an understanding and we always told each other the truth, no matter what. He turned to me and looked me in the eyes. He could always tell if someone was lying. His eyes bore into mine, and I could tell that he was gaging if I was telling the truth or not. After a few moments, he sighed and looked at Luke. "Ok, what can I do to help? This is my sister, and if she is in danger, then I need to protect her." he replied. I smiled. That was my dear brother who always cared about me. Luke was looking questionably at my brother. He would quickly glance back at me. It was almost as if he was debating in his own mind. When he had finally decided that my brother was serious, he spoke. "We need you to fake Skylar's death." replied Luke. I groaned. "Why do I got to kick the bucket?" I complained. Luke rolled his eyes at my supposed humor. "If the humans think you are dead in their world, you will only exist in the mythical world, therefore, I can protect you, because I can only be here once every five years. If they catch you and bring you here, to the human world, I cannot save you, but if you are dead in this world, the morphs cannot bring you here. That is their law." he replied in a huff. I was going to have to get more details about Luke’s world, but now was not the time. I nodded, not quite understanding everything, but Luke knew what he was doing, or at least I hoped he did. I rolled my eyes. This was going to be a long day.
