. I turned to Zebalta. "Luke this is." I began but was cut off by Luke's voice. "Zebalta." he said. I turned to look at Luke with a confused face. "You know her?" I asked. Luke smiled. "Supposedly, she’s, my older snobby sister." he said. Zebalta snorted. “Only because you’re an idiot.” She said. “I’m not an i***t!” Luke replied. “So, that’s why you traveled in between worlds to save a girl, you don’t even know, just to prove that you can be a full wizard?” she asked. Luke sighed in defeat and looked down at his feet. "Wait, but if she's your sister, why don't you look like her?" I asked. Luke smiled. "Everyone has their own magic in their blood. It makes us all look different." he said. I nodded in understanding. "I guess your world is very different than mine." I replied. Luke and Zebalta exchanged looks of concern, and then Luke spoke. “We need to get going. We need to finish this and go.” He said. I looked towards my family’s bodies. I suddenly thought about my dad. “What about my dad?” I asked. Luke looked at Zebalta. “You were at school. Whoever did this, kidn*pped you.” She said. I nodded. That was a good excuse. Luke pulled out his wand and looked at me. “Are you ready?” he asked. I wiped the tears away from my eyes and nodded. Luke pointed his wand at the house and cast a spell. “Cono Ferde” he said. Sparks flew out of his wand, and the house caught on fire. “I’m impressed. You’re not such a loser after all.” Said Zebalta. Look gave her an annoyed look and then turned to me. “Let’s go.” He said. He then put an arm around my body and led me away from the house. The house looked it had been destroyed by Jordan. Luke and I continued to walk away. “Don’t look back.” He whispered into my ear. I nodded and we walked into the woods. After walking for a while, we came to a stop. I didn’t know how long we had walked. It was as if I was in a trance. I was brought back to reality when I heard Luke’s voice. “Skylar?” he asked. I looked at him. He was looking at me in concern. “Yes?” I asked. "I said for you to give me your hand." he said. I gave Luke my hand but quickly pulled it back when he pulled out a knife. "What the heck are you doing?" I screeched. Luke rolled his eyes. "I need a little blood to do this spell." he said. "What spell?" I asked. Luke sighed. "It's a spell to replicate your body without a soul. We made it look like you were kidn*pped, but they will never stop looking for you. We need to make it look like you got away, but succumbed to your wounds." he said. I gasped. "You mean, make it look like I'm dead?" I asked. Luke nodded. "Everyone here will think it's you. The body will vanish after they bury It." he said. I nodded in understanding. "Will it hurt?" I asked. Luke smiled. "Afraid of a little blood?" he asked. I straightened my shoulders in defense. "No, I just don't like the sight of blood." I retorted back. Luke laughed. "Don't worry. I will just prick your finger. I do not need that much blood." he said. I held my hands out for Luke to get the blood. His head shot up and looked at me in concern. “What happened to your hands?” he asked. Zebalta spoke. “She had contact with a mead rope.” She said. I didn’t know that was the name of the magical rope. Luke looked back to me. “Once I do the spell we are going to bind your wounds.” He said. I nodded. Luke took my right hand and the knife inched towards my skin. I quickly turned my head, closed my eyes, and waited for the cut, but felt none. I looked down at my hand to find that there was only a small cut in the center of my palm. I looked up to see that Luke was chanting a spell. His eyes met with mine, as he changed. “Quanto Ferum, Loka Traminium, gadante.” He chanted. I smiled as Luke's green eyes met mine. My felt a tingle in my hand, and saw that the cut had healed. The red color had left my hand, but the blisters were still there. I looked up at Luke. “That’s it?” I asked. Luke smirked. "Well, I'm going to do the spell. your body will appear, and then, we make it look like Jordan shot you outside, since the body won’t be burned up." he said. I gulped for air. "You mean, we have to shoot the body?" I asked. Luke slowly nodded. We were all silent for a moment. Zebalta sighed. “Can we get on with it already?” she groaned out. I smiled. She was quite the character. "Come on! I got a date." She grumbled. Luke smirked. “I still can’t believe that someone would court you.” He said. I looked at him confused. “Court?” I asked. Luke turned to me and nodded. “In my world, courting is when you pursue someone with the goal to marry them.” he replied. “So, it’s basically like dating?” I asked. Luke nodded. “Right. I forgot that that’s what you call it here.” He said. Zebalta snorted. “Let’s go.” She said. Luke turned to her and smiled. "Wolf creature got you on your toes?" he asked. Zebalta stuck her tongue out at him. "Who's the wolf creature?" I asked. Zebalta smiled and Luke chuckled. "Wolfie is Zebalta's boyfriend." he said. "Oh." I said, getting it. I turned to Zebalta. "You like werewolves." I said matter of fact. Zebalta rolled her eyes. “You think? His name is Toby." she said. "And he is a werewolf." she said as she walked away. “Great, not only do creatures exists but werewolves too?” I asked. Luke smiled “You have no idea.” He said and patted me on the back. I sighed. Luke then turned to cast the spell.
"Here I am, I beseech thee,
This powerful enchantment,
Carry on this flowing blood to assume form of them,
To whom it does belong,
Without an earthborn spirit."
