CHAPTER 70 The night was perfectly still, although Megan’s ears still rang with the noise and commotion of the day. Now all she could hear was the faint thudding of Brad’s heart as they lay on their backs and she rested with her ear against his chest. “This view beats Vermont any day of the week.” He stretched his arms up behind his head, and Megan nestled a little closer to him.
