CHAPTER 64 Megan’s short visit with Brad hadn’t cured her of her worry over Kitty, but she certainly felt more hopeful than she had earlier. Maybe God had worked out all the details of her trip to Washington from the start. He knew that she and Brad would run into each other, that they could finally do something to try to fix all the mistakes and misunderstandings of their past. She took the elevator up to Kitty’s floor, humming under her breath. It was the same tune she’d heard Mo whistling in the cafeteria. There was a small chapel on the way to Kitty’s room, not the main one used for services, just a small room where family members could find a little solace. She stepped in.
