Chapter 14 THAT EVENING, THE three men had pizza delivered, and consumed a bottle of wine while they ate the pizza. They talked until Mr. Murphy began to yawn and said, “I think I’m going to call it a night, boys, but don’t let me stop you from enjoying your visit.” “I have to leave early in the morning for work, Pop,” Brody said. “I’ll grab something at McDonald’s for breakfast.” “I hear you,” his grandfather said. A short time after Mr. Murphy had gone inside the house, Brody said, “Why don’t we take this upstairs?” “Sounds good,” Brian said. They gathered the remains of the pizza—mostly crusts and boxes—disposed of them, and Brody secured the house.
