Chapter 17
BRODY AND BRIAN went to the health department together to get their blood drawn, and they were anxiously awaiting the results. The new year arrived, and Brian was back in his apartment in Gainesville, while Brody was caught up in work and classes. The test results landed, and as expected, they were negative. They chose a night when Brody was off the next day, and spent it celebrating in Brian’s apartment. They began the evening with dinner at a nice restaurant, then went back to Brian’s apartment for dessert. They flipped a coin to see who went first, and Brody won the toss.
“This bed is so small, compared to my bed,” Brody said.
