Lux walked in with Kurby and showed him to his seat. Kurby sat down, looking around anxiously. Elija could understand the man’s nervousness. An interrogation room wasn’t set up for luxury. Nope. It was all about intimidation. It helped unnerve the person enough so that they might be more willing to give over information needed. A soft knock on the door had Lux walking over and opening it wide. A small man no more than five foot three with short wavy-brown hair came walking in, pushing a dinner cart with three trays. “Hey, Whisper. I sure hope there’s more of whatever that is, because damn, does it smell good.” Lux said with a wide smile. Whisper blushed a deep pink and nodded, before looking Elija’s way. “Hi there, Whisper. We haven’t had the chance to meet yet. I’m Elija.”
