Kurby looked at Elija, unsure how to answer. Elija smiled, “Not when you get there, but our friend Gaby will make sure you all are welcomed. However, we should be joining you in the next couple of days.”
“O... Okay.” Lilly answered sadly.
“Mom, I’ll be there soon. I can’t wait to see you too. I’ve... I’ve missed you all, so much.” Kurby rasped.
“Oh baby, we’ve missed you too. We’re going to go and pack. I’ll see you in a couple of days. I love you, baby boy,” Lilly said tearfully.
Kurby started crying all over again as he said, “I love you too, Mom.”
Elija put his finger over the disconnect button, but Alaska called out, “Do not allow anyone in unless they answer to Yain or Quill. They will be accompanied by Councilman Regee Lansing.”
