He dragged her out of the ICU and started taking her somewhere with no people around. His hand held hers gently as they walked through the corridors, dragging attention nevertheless. She didn't seem to mind.
Elliott saw an emergency exit door around the corner of the hospital and exited through the door. They reached a balcony with emergency metal stairs running down from the end of the balcony.
He let go of her hand.
"What exactly did you mean when you said you wanted me to join you?" Elliott asked, dead serious. Asami seemed to not put many minds to it. When she didn't answer, Elliott tried again. "Did you want me to kill people, shed their skins off and escape with you? Or did you want me to endlessly follow you around?"
