GARRY The woman's body was getting disfigured but she was raising herself off of the car seat. Garry and the two others, who had leapt out of the car after the horrific transfiguration of the dead woman, were out on the road. They were panting with their eyes wide. After a minute, several loud thuds were sounding from inside the car. The woman was banging hard on the shut car door, trying to get out. Along with it, loud growls sounded that sent shivers down their spines. "What did you do to her?" One of Turner's men asked, accusing Garry. "I did nothing! I don't know what's going on!" Garry wailed with fear as the thudding increased with growling. The woman was rattling the car door with all her might. "D-do I shoot?" "No, she'll know our location!" Garry warned them to not think impulsively. "Then, let's use this," one of the two men said, holding up a green grenade that he had in his pocket. "Why do you have this?" Garry said, shocked. "Because... Turner told us to destroy the body so that no remains of her are left. We were just doing what we were told to," the scared man confessed, taking Garry aback. He frowned, knowing Turner was not someone who was just looking for credits from the Mayor. He was planning something huge. "Use it," Garry said, bewildered. In a second, the safety pin was ripped open and the bomb was thrown at the car. In ten seconds of Garry and the two men running away, the bomb blew up the car and the woman inside. It was an open field so nothing else was harmed. Once they got away, the three of them parted ways. Turner's men walked to the city while Garry headed back to Bernsville. ELLIOTT Asami stood in her black hood with a tall frame and faceless. She appeared pitch-black but Elliott knew it was her behind those fake props. Gabrielle was as calm as ever. She slowly grabbed the small stones in her fists and started whispering something into them holding them close to her mouth. Then, she crouched down and tossed them on the floor. The stones rolled on the ground and positioned themselves on their own. Gabrielle looked down at the rocks and suddenly, black lines started appearing on the floor, connecting the stones to each other. In just a few seconds, a pentagram had shown up on the floor. Asami stood stone still. Gabrielle held out her hand and started chanting again. Simultaneously, the rings on her fingers started glowing and a protection symbol carved itself in the middle of the pentagram. Both the rings and the symbol were glowing golden, producing such an immense power that everyone felt the repercussions. Elliott felt shaken with anticipation that he could do a thing. Suddenly, Asami's still figure started shaking. She was trembling in her place as the protection symbol on the floor started emitting faint golden light. But the way she was shaking only grew and the others prepared themselves for backup. Gabrielle's voice while chanting started increasing and the louder she spoke, the louder the trembling got. But in a few moments, the trembling changed to struggling. Asami struggled to unbind herself from an invisible rope she seemed to be tied with but Gabrielle only chanted louder. She took out a potion bottle of holy water and sprinkled it upon the ritual. Immediately, an inhumanely deafening screech came out of Phoenix's mouth as she started crouching down. Gabrielle kept on repeating the process as her loud chants echoed the area, booming from every single direction. She looked invincible, she could tame the devil. Suddenly, Asami started moving sideways, off of her feet. She was being thrown around and crashed on the walls on both sides but it didn't stop. When Elliott looked at Gabrielle's tensed face, he realised that Gabrielle wasn't making Asami do this. Gabrielle was chanting to keep Asami bound to where she was standing and stop all her movements. But by struggling, Asami forced herself to keep moving by crashing on the walls too and fro so that no one could restrict her movements. Gabrielle yelled out the chants and the golden light burst through the pentagram, strengthening the spell even more but Asami didn't let it take over her. "Let's go!" Jack said, terrified. "We can't do anything," George replied because they didn't have any supernatural powers. "But they can," Elliott said, pointing at the girls. Immediately, they held their hands out and started producing their powers to help Gabrielle but moments passed by and nothing happened. They couldn't use their powers, they were unable to do so. When Elliott looked back at Gabrielle, she straightened her spine and stepped forward. She moved forward towards the Asami and placed herself upon the pentagram. Just as she did it, energy surged through her body and she tilted back. The golden light poured over her as she stood back up. Her eyes were burning with power. Gabrielle was overcome with light because she was up against the darkness. Her face held a fearless look. She was never backing down. Blood trickled down Gabrielle's nose but the golden light was pouring through her. She opened her eyes once again, shaking, as she stepped forward and raised her hand in front of her. Asami's movements slowed down and she was getting confined. Her swinging back and forth strategy zeroed out and soon, the hooded figure was bound. She was struggling to move or get away but Gabrielle didn't let her. Chanting louder than ever, Gabrielle reached out to Asami and she screeched and screamed demonically. Her voice sent shivers down Elliott's body as he helplessly watched, feeling a twinging sensation in his body. Asami yelled out loud and crouched down. She sounded like she was in pain. Gabrielle's hand reached over Asami's hooded head as she crouched down in pain. The golden ray started seeping through Gabrielle's body to Asami's and her screams echoed through every corner. "Jesus," Fred gasped as he looked up at the sky above. Elliott looked up to see the dark clouds looming over them in the shape of a tornado. The thunderbolts were blinding and spine chilling. As the light flowed into Asami to wipe out the darkness from her, she started shrinking. Phoenix's tall frame started growing smaller and smaller till she fell to the ground. She remained unseen but she was curled up pitifully on the floor, defeated. She was just a girl acting on her impulses, after all, Elliott thought, his heart throbbing at the thought of staring at her face again. Gabrielle walked closer to her, reciting the last few lines of her chant to completely exorcise Asami and succeed. She closed her eyes and prayed for the wellness of humanity and all the sins she had committed. Everyone started coming out of their hideouts and watched the end of it all. They sighed of relief as they watched Gabrielle stop reciting and smile softly. Suddenly, a frail hand crawled out of the hood on the ground and swung over at Gabrielle's feet. No one saw it coming. Isis immediately noticed what had happened and she cried out loud. They ran towards her and Jack started shooting the bullets and striking. He was shooting indistinctly, alerted and trembling in the uncertainty. Gabrielle's breath hitched and she looked down at her legs, petrified. That's when her right leg fell off. Blood poured out of the cut off leg and it started draining her. Elliott ran to pull Gabrielle back and save her before time ran out. They made a mistake letting Gabrielle handle it alone but now it was their turn to protect her. Together, they charged at her for rescue but it all passed in a second. Before Gabrielle could do anything, a sharp object pressed against her belly with a strong force and pierced it at once.
