After leaving the table, Luisa hadn’t even gotten past the hallway leading to the washroom when Alden suddenly grabbed her arm and held her back.
“Luisa, please let me explain.”

She tried to appear aloof, but she couldn’t keep it up for long before she hissed. “You told Millie to invite us here because of Kris, didn’t you? He made you bring Thalassa here because he was going to be here, didn’t he?”
