THE ESCAPE

CHELSEA I command my younger brother and even though he's our Pack's Alpha, he takes the command lightly and shrugs then nods. Keith then turns to the triplets and shrugs at them. "Guys, you've heard her and I'm taking her back home. Kindly ensure you don't cause a scene here if you want to ever see my sister again!" He commands using his Alpha tone and that doesn't even intimidate them because they're all Alphas. "You can't take her away from us, she's ours!" One of the them who I came to realise that his name is Casey says to him. My heart skips a beat upon hearing his sweet yet firm voice. "Let's go Keith!" I say to my brother who signals to his mate and together we move towards our car in the parking lot. The triplets make an attempt to follow us and take me by force but their father stops them, urging them to let me be and just hope I'll get back to my senses. Though reluctantly, they heed to their dad's plea and finally turn to follow him to the pack house the moment they see our car being driven towards the pack house gate. I don't even know why I am watching their moves! 'You shouldn't have run away! You should have stayed and get to know our mates better!' my wolf laments in my subconscious. 'I need to calm my senses down Terry, please don't rush me!' I warn her. 'They are our mates for crying out loud! You need to go back there and claim them Chelsea!' 'Over my dead body. Do you know how many men I have to handle all at once? Three Terry, three! Just imagine how that will be! Ah, I'm not ready!' 'The moon goddess will guide us on whatever we're supposed to do Chelsea. Please don't complicate things for us. I'm sure they'll come after us.' she continues pleading with me. 'Until then Terry, until then!' I say and then block her out so as to think because as it is now, I'm not thinking straight. Keith is on the wheel and he's just driving, his eyes on the road ahead and busy concentrating on whatever he's doing. He only turns momentarily to reply to his mate's question or chat but he doesn't dwell on it that much. I'm sure his mind still lingers on the events that have just taken place. Since our Pack the Waterwave Pack isn't far from the Greenrock Pack, we arrive home even before nightfall and upon climbing out of our car, I pick my clutch bag and head straight to my room. I don't make an attempt to talk to anyone, not even mom who is asking why we are back that early. I'm sure she will get all the answers from Keith and his mate. Upon getting into my room, I pick my phone and place a call to Ethan, asking him to book a flight for me because I want to travel back to the city as soon as possible. Ethan doesn't ask any questions except for my details and within no time, he sends me an air ticket followed by a call from him. "I hope you're already at the airport because the plane is taking off in the next one hour." "Thank you so much baby, I owe you one!" I say, my heart filled with gratitude. After hanging up, I look around the room, thinking about what to take with me but I decide that I'm not carrying anything except my cards and identification document. I get rid of my heels and slip into some flat shoes and then pick a jacket and then walk outside my bedroom. Since it's located at the third floor of the pack house, I walk downstairs to the parlour, praying that there won't be anyone to stop me. I've already ordered a cab and I know exactly what to tell my parents if they ask me about where I'm headed to. Passing by my brother's apartment at the second floor, I hear him discussing with his mate about what happened at the Greenrock Pack. "Let's not tell mom and dad yet." He tells her. "It's Chelsea's choice to tell them." He adds. "What if they insist on knowing and Chelsea refuses to tell them anything?" Keith's mate Yvette asks. "Chelsea is a grown up and I'm sure she'll make the best decision ever." "Okay then, let's go downstairs for dinner." "Alright babe, let's go!" Upon coming to that conclusion, I hear Keith and Yvette opening their door and I walk briskly downstairs, still praying that there's no one in the living room and the parlour. To my greatest delight, I don't meet anyone downstairs and I assume that mom is in the kitchen and dad in his office. I walk stealthily outside and head towards the pack house's gate where I meet the guards. They don't have any problem letting me out although they won't stop asking me some questions. "Why haven't you driven out in one of the cars?" One of them asks curiously. "I'll use a cab, don't worry. I won't be able to drive myself home the moment I'll be coming back home so I have to use other means." I explain. "Let's not keep the cab driver waiting, I can see that he's already here." "Okay Chelsea, take care out there. There are rogues and evil wolves everywhere." I nod in appreciation as I head out of the Pack House and towards the cab. That wasn't hard afterall! "Airport?" The driver asks immediately I climb onto the back seat. "Yes, airport." I nod in confirmation. "I'm in a hurry since I have a flight to catch in less than an hour." "Alright ma'am." He responds and then starts the journey to the airport. **** CASEY "Our mate?" I turn to my brothers whose eyes are also on the captivating beauty who's still closing her eyes, most probably inhaling our scents. My wolf Drew is still screaming in my head, threatening to come out and meet his mate. I spend a lot of time trying to calm him down because he's the most stubborn wolf that I've ever come across! "It seems we will have to share, bros!" Blake says to us, his eyes still on our mate. By the look of things, he's already drooling over her since he's the worst womaniser amongst us. "Oh no!" Jarvis laments. "How on earth are we supposed to share one girl? The moon goddess isn't fair at all! I want my own mate, not a girl whom we have to fight for every night!" He complains. "Never utter such nonsense Jarvis! The moon goddess has never wrong. He definitely knows the reason why he paired us to one girl. Damn, she's so beautiful! Let's go and claim her!" As for me, I don't see it as a big deal that we've been paired to one mate and since I know all about werewolf rules and mate bonds, I'm not ready to let this girl go therefore I take a step forward towards where she is seated but to my surprise, I see her walking briskly heading outside. The three of us walk faster so as to catch up with her but she's already at the parking lot, running away in a supersonic speed. Since we are the Alphas and we can't be seen running after a girl, I instruct our men to run after her and ensure they come back with her to us. Having done that, we declare the party over and instruct everyone to leave at their own pleasure upon eating and drinking to their fill. Everyone of them was watching the show as it unfolded therefore I don't think they have any questions to ask. We already have a mate! We've already recognised the girl as Chelsea, a neighbouring Pack's Alpha's daughter and as we stand outside the banquet hall, Alpha Keith of the Waterwave Pack and his Luna walks towards us and extends his hand to say hi. He's the latest brother in-law in town! "Hi Alpha Keith, hi Luna Yvette, what a pleasure?" I say to them upon shaking our hands. "Hi Alphas, I'm sorry for my sister's behaviour and I'm sure she'll come back to her senses. However, ensure your men do not manhandle her because I won't take it lightly with you when I see a scratch on her skin!" He threatens using his Alpha tone. He's just a boy who's only eighteen and he's threatening us? Wow! "And you think we are that callous as to harm our own mates? Come off it Keith, we have been looking for mates for ages now and the first thing upon meeting her won't be to harm her. Relax!" "I hope so, or else-" "There they are!" Jarvis shouts joyfully as the baby that he is. "Let's go and meet her!" He squeals. "No need, they're coming straight to us." I respond and within no time, Chelsea is here with us in the company of our men. Upon arrival, her brother rushes to hug her something that doesn't wit well with us and we all growl as we take a step towards them. We know they are siblings but still we don't want them to hug each other in such a manner. It makes us all jealous and overprotective of her! "I don't want to be here with you!" She suddenly states while eyeing us daringly. "Keith, please take me home, now!" She commands her brother who just shrugs and then nods. I wonder why a whole Alpha will take an order from anyone else. Well, it shows how much they love each other! Alpha Keith then turns to us and shrugs. "Guys, you've heard her and I'm taking her back home. Kindly ensure you don't cause a scene here if you want to ever see my sister again!" He commands using his Alpha tone and that doesn't even intimidate us at all. We are also Alphas and he seems to have forgotten that! "You can't take her away from us, she's ours!" I say to him. I'm ready to fight so as to have her stay with us. Chelsea is our mate for goodness sake! "Let's go Keith!" Chelsea says to her brother who signals to his mate Yvette and together they move towards their car in the parking lot. My brothers and I make an attempt to follow them and take her back by force but our dad stops us, urging us to let the girl be and just pray that she get back to her senses. Though reluctantly, we heed to our dad's plea and finally turn to follow him to the Pack house but only when we see their car being driven off towards the gate. I can sense that she's watching us and I am assured that deep down, she needs us just as much as we do need her!
