The rest of the day was a whirlwind. We had to travel about an hour and a half to get to the stores Penny wanted, and she was taking advantage of the situation. She dragged me around clothing stores, shoe stores, and even through the local Target. When I’d tell her no about something, she’d just dump it in the cart anyway and move on.
I wasn’t sure I’d survive her.
