Luca POV The last twenty-four hours had been torture. I kept waiting for Elena's body to show up somewhere in the city while trying to drown my father's words out with work. Nothing was helping. So I resorted to the only other thing I could think of. The whiskey sloshed in the bottle as I poured my fifth glass. Maybe a good drunk would dull the pain enough that I could focus.
