Tristan had the look of a surprised kid when I told him to help me get through the Blood Moon Pack’s territory without anyone knowing. I know. Trust me, it sounded ridiculous even in my own ears, especially when I said it out loud. But knowing Tristan, nothing’s impossible in his nature.
This man was the most impossible person I have ever known.
Despite the seriousness of the situation, his eyes twinkled in amusement at my solemn statement. It was like he admired me for being so brave but stup*d at the same time.
“It might work,” he nodded, a hand rubbing his chin in mock seriousness that made me clench my jaw. “We might even save your father, but he would more likely kill me before we could even manage to escape the pack.”
