{Ellie’s POV} Lucy lives alone in a two-story apartment thirty minutes from where I live. She told me her dad wasn’t home while her mom had passed away giving birth to her. As devastating as it may sound, Lucy told me she’d gotten over it since there wasn’t much memory of her mother for her to hold. In fact, there was no memory at all. Knowing those things made me realize that we share a lot more in common than I had thought.
