The day I lost my mom was the day I forgot what real happiness feels like.
And these past few months, dad had been trying to stir that happiness to life again. It might be or might not be working, but that fact that he was trying says a lot, and now, life is taking him away from me too, just like what it did to my mom.
The last time I really did feel truly happy was a few hours before mom passed away.
