{Ellie’s POV}
“Excuse me.”
The dinner was surprisingly going well so far. I watched as Roxanne walked inside the kitchen while everyone continued to chatter happily.
I glanced at Noah and Nolan again, who were exchanging words here and there like a normal father and son catching up in life. This was my first time seeing him with Noah, but I could already tell how close they were, while I’ve known Roxanne since I went here, and yet, I barely saw her interaction with her son.
Something was definitely wrong.
But if it was Roxanne and Noah that were in a rocky road relationship, then why was the latter living with the former instead of Nolan, who he has a more stable relationship with?
