Chaos seemed to follow me wherever I went.
It just hit me when I stepped inside the mansion that dad was still missing and that no matter what I learned, it wouldn't bring him back; it wouldn't make him suddenly appear out of the blue.
But it also doesn't change the fact that everyone in this house has lied and kept something big from me. Something that I still barely believe until now. Something that I still felt hesitant to confront them about, but there was no backing down now.
