{Ellie’s POV} The school hid more secrets than I thought. But in this case, it wasn’t a secret to anyone, just from me since, despite my almost two and a half months going here, my knowledge about the school grounds remained limited. And that’s why we’re here. Lucy brought me just outside the school on the other side of the parking lot, where not most students go. Instead of seeing another parking or pavements or tables for school activities, I saw a wide field—not literally a field like the football field because it has trees with enough distance to each other—but it was flat ground with soft green grass. The air seemed colder and fresher back here, but what captivated me more was the peacefulness this place seemed to hold. There was no sign of those aggressive high school teenagers
