{Ellie’s POV}
“Bye, Lucy.”
Everyone at school went home early, especially those who hadn’t shifted yet. Most of them looked pretty excited to shift and meet their wolves. I was not part of that, but for some reason, I felt nervous.
I’ve been feeling so uneasy since everything I’ve learned from Lucy. There was this nagging feeling in the pit of my stomach, as if my instincts were warning me about something. But maybe it was just my nerves. Maybe it was only because a lot of kids would be wandering around later tonight.
I let out an anxious breath before looking at dad in the driver’s seat.
It has been a while since he was the one who picked me up. It was always either Noah or Rhys, so seeing him today waiting for me was quite surprising.
