School just let out and I’m currently walking home. My house is so quiet and depressing, my dad drowns himself in alcohol everyday and beats on my mom. “Start driving!” Keisha screeched. She pressed a button and window between the driver part and back went up.

Mother:

“We are, do you have homework to do?” She asked. I shook my head no.

“We have like 40 or 50 minutes til I get home and my driver can’t hear us unless I press a button. We can do whatever we want.” She told me making shrug. Ok and?
