Joyce rushed to the banquet hall to deliver what Violet needed.
She held a little secret she accidentally discovered, feeling both nervous and excited.
Caroline caught her eye. "What's got you all worked up?"
"Oh, nothing," Joyce said, waving her hand dismissively.
Caroline didn't think much of it.
Joyce's cheeks burned as her mind raced. 'Chris and Evelyn... having an affair?! Holy crap, that's insane!'
Forget it. She decided to pretend she didn't see anything and keep their secret.
