"She agreed to the terms," Caroline replied. "As long as Ms. Dexys keeps her word and stays away from Chris, Mom guarantees that not a word of today's events will get out. And the Kensington family won't take advantage of the situation to harm the Dexys Group."
Caroline rubbed her temple. "Ms. Dexys agreed so quickly. Her eyes lit up the moment I made the offer. What on earth has our son done to make people want to push him away?
"Chris never really opens up to us about his thoughts." Blair frowned. "It's hard to guess what he's thinking, but I feel he does care for Ms. Dexys."
"I suppose if he genuinely likes her, that's fine. I just worry he might have some hidden agenda." Caroline sighed.
