“Lyra, please calm down. We don’t know who it is just yet.” Even though those were my words, I found myself being pushed off the bed with such force that I was helpless against it. If not for my quick reflexes, I would have been thrown onto the floor.
I hadn’t had a wolf before, so I couldn’t tell that there were so many things your wolf could do through you without your knowledge. It made me wonder how many people had a wolf as crazy as mine. To make matters worse, I knew absolutely nothing about controlling my wolf or how to navigate the link between us. I never thought it necessary to join the wolf bonding classes that seemed useless to me at the time.
Who was I even kidding? I would have been thrown out of such classes, making a total joke of myself. Now, I wish I had taken
