I couldn't tell why but my body rippled with anxiety. A pit was forming in my stomach and it was getting larger by the minute.
I only get this feeling when something terribly wrong is about to happen and unfortunately, my instincts are never wrong.
But what could be the problem? Tomorrow is Norn's mating ceremony and the preparations seem to be going extremely well. Nothing is out of the ordinary except Esme's behavior. Which I can't really account for because she's weird - in a cute way.
She suddenly asked me about Norn and the next day, I saw her talking to Raiden.
For some weird reason, I couldn't stand the sight of her getting so chummy with Raiden so I left and never got to know what they were talking about. It's not like I care anyway.
