Chapter 19 Relationship with my chaffeurWhen they landed in Madrid, a car was waiting for them, ready to take them to their destination which turned out to be Edmundo's penthouse. A lavish building that covered a wide expanse of land. The building was quaint with a transparent glass door that seemed to sparkle in the morning sun.
"Welcome to my private place", he said.
Rita halted in her steps. That was the same name she called her private house back in Spain. She didn't believe in coincidences and she wondered if perhaps Edmundo knew about her building. She didn't know what she'd do if he discovered the place. No doubt, he'll look for every avenue to always visit her, disturbing the little peace she had managed to build away from him.
