Loius POV Frowning, I tried to get away from my mother, who kept teasing me about my hair. She thought I desperately needed a haircut. I didn’t; I preferred it at this length—just a few inches long, coiled at the base of my neck. Most of my features came from my mother’s side: red hair, freckles, and the gap between my two front teeth. From my father, I got only his black Kelvin’s eyes.
