As they danced, Catalina couldn't help but think about Jones' past. She had always been curious about what he used to do, but he had never seemed willing to talk about it. Now, as they swayed to the music, Catalina decided to ask him again. "Jones, can I ask you something?" she said, looking up at him with curious eyes. Jones smiled and nodded. "Of course, Kitty. What is it?" Catalina took a deep breath. "What did you used to do, before you became a businessman?" she asked. Jones' expression changed, and for a moment, Catalina thought she saw a flash of sadness in his eyes. But then, he smiled again, and his eyes crinkled at the corners. "I used to be a spy, Kitty," he said, his voice low and husky. "I worked for the government, doing undercover work and gathering intelligence." Catalina's eyes widened in surprise. She had never suspected that Jones had such a dangerous and exciting past. "Why did you quit?" she asked, her curiosity getting the better of her. Jones' expression turned serious again. "I saw some terrible things, Kitty," he said. "Things that no one should ever have to see. And I realized that I didn't want to be a part of that world anymore." Catalina nodded, understanding. She could see the pain in Jones' eyes, and she knew that he had been deeply affected by his experiences. "I'm glad you're out of that world now," she said, reaching up to touch his face. "You deserve to be happy, Jones." Jones smiled and pulled her close. "I am happy, Kitty," he said. "I'm happy because I have you." As they hugged, Catalina felt a sense of love and gratitude wash over her. She knew that she had found her soulmate in Jones, and she was grateful for every moment they spent together. And as they danced, surrounded by their loved ones, Catalina knew that she would always stand by Jones, no matter what secrets his past held. As the night wore on, Catalina couldn't help but think about Jones' past again. She was curious about the kind of work he had done as a spy, and what had driven him to leave that life behind. "Jones, can I ask you something else?" she said, looking up at him with curious eyes. Jones smiled and nodded. "Of course, Kitty. What is it?" Catalina took a deep breath. "What was it like, being a spy?" she asked. Jones' expression turned serious, and he hesitated for a moment before answering. "It was a difficult and dangerous job, Kitty," he said. "I had to do things that I'm not proud of, and I saw things that no one should ever have to see." Catalina's eyes widened in surprise. She had never imagined that Jones had been involved in such dangerous and morally ambiguous work. "But why did you do it?" she asked, her curiosity getting the better of her. Jones sighed and rubbed his temples. "I did it because I believed in the cause, Kitty," he said. "I believed that I was making a difference, that I was helping to keep people safe." Catalina nodded, understanding. She could see the conviction in Jones' eyes, and she knew that he had truly believed in what he was doing. "But what made you leave?" she asked, her curiosity still getting the better of her. Jones' expression turned sad, and he looked away for a moment before answering. "I lost someone I cared about, Kitty," he said. "Someone who was killed in the line of duty. And that's when I realized that it wasn't worth it anymore." Catalina's heart went out to Jones, and she reached up to touch his face. "I'm so sorry, Jones," she said. "I can only imagine how hard that must have been for you." Jones smiled and pulled her close. "It's okay, Kitty," he said. "I'm just glad to be out of that life now. And I'm glad to have you." As they hugged, Catalina felt a sense of love and gratitude wash over her. She knew that she had found her soulmate in Jones, and she was grateful for every moment they spent together. Jones pulled back and looked at her with serious eyes. "Kitty, I want you to know that I'm done with that life," he said. "I'm done with the danger and the deception. I want to start fresh, with you." Catalina's heart skipped a beat as she looked at him. "Ya lyublyu tebya, Jones," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. (I love you, Jones.) Jones smiled and took her hand. "Ya lyublyu tebya, Kitty," he replied, his voice filled with emotion. (I love you, Kitty.) As they stood there, holding hands and looking into each other's eyes, Catalina knew that she had found her forever home. She knew that she would never let Jones go, and that she would spend the rest of her life making him happy. "Zhit' s toboy budu," she said, her voice filled with conviction. (I will live with you.) Jones smiled and pulled her close. "Ya budu zhit' s toboy," he replied, his voice filled with love. (I will live with you.) As they hugged, Catalina felt a sense of happiness and contentment wash over her. She knew that she had found her soulmate in Jones, and that she would never let him go.
