"So, you are telling me that you are pregnant and Damon is the father?" Kate Briggs, one of my closest female friends asked.
"yes and yes, what should I do Katie?" Taylor asked, more like whining.
" dude!! " Katie exclaimed and flicked his forehead at the same time.
"ouch! that hurts.." Taylor cried dramatically and massaged his head.
" why would you sleep with Damon of all people? he is your bestie and the future king of the kingdom "
Katie looked at Taylor still in shock and he rolled his eyes at her.
"you haven't seen his d**k." Taylor pointed out, earning him another flick to his head.
"ouch! easy on me, Katie..am pregnant." Taylor pointed out, trying to earn her pity. Katie rolled her eyes at him.
" Seriously, what made you sleep with Damon? you were always against having any relationships with your friends, said it will mess things up."
he was reminded of his words, more like a mantra...
"one minute we were in my room about to take a shower and he took off his clothes. geez! you should have seen his d**k, it was so gorg. I f****d up! "
Katie burst into laughter and Taylor couldn't help but glare at her. she wasn't helping at all.
"oh my gosh! Taylor, the s*x freak lost control and jumped his bestie.." Katie teased making Taylor groan in annoyance.
" shut up, Katie...I should have kept quiet"
he said, blushing seriously.
" you have to tell him, Tay.. you are carrying the future heir of this kingdom." she pointed out, and he hated to admit that she was right. he felt a headache approaching and wished she would change the topic.
"Don't you think I know that?..am freaking out inside if only I kept my legs shut and ignored his big, fat, juicy d**k."
Katie snorted. "you think?.."
" I don't get why Damon is being so childish about this? you slept with your best friend, no biggie..." Taylor said, exasperated.
he would have been less annoyed if Damon could try to clear the air or asked him to forget about it, instead he was avoiding him.
"dude! if I slept with my best friend, I'll move to another planet. " Katie declared, annoying him further.
"so, do you know where he has run off to?"
"of course..who do you think I am? asked Taylor, rolling his eyes at his friend.
he was just giving space to Damon for him to clear his head and it was time to finally meet his best friend.
Taylor had a huge problem and that was his flaw of always being quick to assume, and that had led to a lot of his problems in the past.
on a faithful day, after the pregnancy news. he was watching the local Orion Central News and there was a special broadcast from the royal palace.
and, it went like this...
" From the king to his citizens, the kingdom of Emerald and our Orion kingdom has decided on an alliance for the betterment of its citizens foremost and the country. The day of the signed partnership will be on the 15th of this month. Thank you all for your time and the goddess be with you. "
The wheels were already turning in his head and everything he could understand out of the announcement was "marriage alliance."
it would be a disaster if Damon got married, an abomination...
The law of the land clearly stated that...
" the king or his heirs couldn't get married to another woman if he had a child, without the child going through the crimson ritual. "
the child had to undergo the ritual to bind him to the throne before the king would be permitted to get married to another woman, that wasn't the child's mother.
it was done to establish the right the firstborn had over the throne.
If not a terrible disaster would befall the prince and the kingdom.
Taylor didn't want anything to befall on Damon or the kingdom, because of him hiding his pregnancy and so, he bought a white dazzling suit to attend the ceremony. the kingdom wasn't going to get ruined in his watch.
Why he decided to wear a dazzling suit or be dramatic about it?.. he had no idea...
Talking about his problem of getting so quick to assume the worst..yep, he f****d up.
Taylor went to the palace and he was allowed easy access because he was well known in the palace as Damon's best friend.
he was walking to the throne room where the ceremony was being held and he could hear the loud and powerful voice of the chief priestess of Orion.
"By the power invested in me, I..."
Taylor's eyes widened in fear, he couldn't allow her to finish and make this a done deal and so, he hurriedly ran to the huge doors and pushed the door wide open, and yeah, like the dramatic person he was, he screamed out loud...
" stop! Am pregnant for the prince..."
yep, Taylor Gibson did that.
And he probably thought that he had saved the day, only to find out that there was no marriage going on.
it was as simple as they made it out to be.. 'an alliance' and a blood contract to seal the deal and the priestess was there to make the spell and seal it.
he just outed himself to the full palace and mind you, his parents were also present and could only stare at their son in total shock.
what made it wholesome was when the prince fainted due to the shock of the news and the full palace was in chaos.
yikes!!
it wasn't his best entrance, this was surely going to be a scandal.
