It was past one in the morning and Theo was still very much wide awake. He had been running back and forth the wide marble kitchen in their house trying to figure out how to bake a cake and although he started right after he was sure Luna had already fallen asleep which was around eleven in the evening, he was still not halfway done.
“Wait, was it two or three eggs?!” Theo said confused as he hurriedly ran back to his phone to check the recipe once again.
He let out an annoyed groan as he ruffled his hair in frustration, bits of white flour getting on his dark black hair without even realizing this as he was too preoccupied wondering how he was going to pull his surprise off.
