CHAPTER FIVEElla pulled up alongside the curb and killed the engine of her car. She picked up a pair of shades from where they were sitting on the front passenger seat. She slid them onto her face and grabbed up the black and pink leopard printed cap that was there also. She smacked the cap on her head. Next, she opened the sun visor and a small light came on, reflecting off the small square mirror that had been placed there. Holding the cap by its brim and back, she adjusted it to her liking as she stared at herself in the rearview mirror. Afterwards, she threw the hood on her head and tightened the drawstrings of her hoodie, enclosing the hood around her head.
